Mastercard usually mirror Visa. Just not trained up on their regs. But you can search for the Mastercard regs and read through the various chargebacks. Unlike Visa.

Well as suspected the company has now ceased trading, there's a message on their site apologising and advising customers to lodge chargebacks with their card providers, so that is now what I am doing...!

Just a note on this.
If you cancel your order. Technically you can not do a nice & easy non receipt chargeback.. 
Pretty obvious, but something many people miss....
You would then be looking at non receipt of refund. Which as far as Visa goes requires something in writing stating "Date of refund, amount of refund & last 4 digits of your card"
I'll let you guess the odds of getting that bit of info....

I didn’t cancel in the end because they said I could only cancel once I received it... :-/

Well my chargeback has now gone through, much more quickly than Tesco said it would so that's great - now to wait and see if the defunct company disputes it after all...!
