Confused on charges for foreign shares

With ii it's perfectly fine to buy US and other international shares in an ISA and I have done it through them in the past. The only difference from their other accounts is that you can't hold US currency in an ISA, because it's not an allowable investment under HMRC rules. So they don't offer multicurrency cash accounts (unlike for the non-tax-wrapper general 'Trading account'), but they definitely still allow international dealing.Voyager2002 said:
Thank you for the correction. I was relaying what I had been told by Interactive Investor: maybe it is time for me to change platforms.AnotherJoe said:
Completely wrong. I hold many US shares in my HL ISA.Voyager2002 said:There are plenty of British platforms that allow you to buy US-listed shares, but you cannot hold them in an ISA.0
