British Gas

Has anybody had problems with British Gas ?   Despite complaining to them and Energy Ombudsman, we have got nowhere with our long standing issues.  Basically British Gas have been charging us for somebody else's electricity usage.  Any help as to who can take this appalling Company to task.  Problem has been ongoing since March this year.  Desperate now as me and hubby are nearly 80 years old.

Sorry - This needs more information to help.
Is this a meter mix-up in a block of flats, or something else?

What happened prior to March? What did the Ombudsman conclude?

You, as customer, can reject the Ombudsman's ruling, but after that, a civil claim is your only way forward.

@Energy678 It is of course quite possible that you are paying less than you should be due to this error.

I presume you have been able to identify which is the correct and the incorrect meter.  Are you able to read the correct one - the incorrect one will have readings (unless they are estimates)
