Homebuyers survey

Options
We are in the process of buying a new house that still has several years left on the NHBC. We have already had the valuation completed.  Is it worth having an additional Homebuyers survey conducted on a relatively new build property?

We bought a house that was completely rebuilt/moderised within the last 5 years. We had the same conundrum but no insurance.

In the end we decided that the £700 was a worthwhile investment to protect ourselves. It would also give you a reference point in the future if something could crop up.

A Condition Report (Level 1) is more suitable, assuming the property is presented in good condition.

No, unless you are " flush" at present.
