Bought first place, not moving straight away - when to change address on stuff?

So I completed on my first flat on Friday 23rd, but it needs a lot of decorating so I'm not moving in straight away. I'd like to know what accounts/services/government stuff I need to change and when. What I mean is if I'm not physically living at the property yet, should I keep my current address on things like my bank account, billing address, driver's license etc, until I actually move?
I've already sorted out:
- Gas, electricity & water
- Council tax will post a form for me to fill out cos their website is down (typical)
- Electoral register (I selected "I have multiple addresses" so it doesn't remove me from my current one, which I will update again after I move)
- Land Registry (will be done by solicitor)
- Building insurance (will be done by solicitor, included in service charge)
- I don't need mail redirection because I can easily collect mail from my current (parent's) address as it's very closeby

Nothing else I can see that you'd need to change.
How long is it going to be unoccupied for? Bear in mind insurance policies will have conditions about that, as will your mortgage conditions.1 -
Most other things should be based on where you actually live egdriving licence, HMRC, bank, life insurance etc,so change those when you move in.1

If you can get hold of your post once every couple of days during decoration, then I would change everything, all the items posted above and more. If you can't, then your own list is probably best, instead of changing insurance, driving licence, bank, etc etc. ( but try to get those all ready for change by day of moving in full-time ).1

I've always changed the address on my driving license ASAP. It's accepted as a legal form of photo ID everywhere, they don't charge you to update the address, and it's never taken more than a few working days to get a replacement in the post. An absolute no-brainer in my opinion...0

I changed everything as soon as poss even though hadn't fully moved, it can take ages to do everything and there is always something that gets forgotten. We have a one year redirection for our old house but beginning to suspect that the people who we bought off at the new house have only had 6 months.0
