TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Wickes Fix- Q4- Bathrooms- Oct/Nov 2020” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	On-air Competition There are 4 x on air competitions in total with on competition round taking place on the Absolute Radio Dave Berry Breakfast Show each day from 02/11/2020- 05/11/2020 between 6am and 10am.   In order to be eligible to win, entrants must enter the competition when promoted by the on-air presenters in the method announced by the presenters on the day of the competition (see section 2 for details).    On being entering and being randomly selected from all entrants as the contestant, they will be promoted to play the competition in order to win the prize.     The contestant will be asked 5 general knowledge questions during the competition round. For each correctly answered questions the contestant will win £400 Wickes Gift-card value.   The maximum value of Wickes Gift-card that can be won in any round will be capped at £2000 (£400 x 5). The minimum value of Wickes Gift-card that can be won in any round will be £0 if the contestant incorrectly answers each of the 5 questions.   Online Competition: The prize winner for the online competition will be selected from those persons who successfully fill in all mandatory contact details and answer the questions correctly in order to be put in the draw to win.   The winning entry will be selected by random electronic draw on 06/11/2020 (competition closes on 05/11/2020 10:00) and the winner will be contacted and informed they have won the prize.   The winner’s first name and hometown are available on request by emailing win@bauermedia.co.uk
2.Entry Platforms and Costs	On-air Competition:   For the on-air competition, the on-air presenter will inform listeners of the entry method during the show the competition sits within. 3. DATES	On-air Competition: The on-air portions of this comp will take place each day from 02/11/2020 until 05/11/2020, between 6am and 10am. The contestants will be given information of when the exact timings will be ahead of the on-air segment being recorded.     On-air Winner Announcement: The name and the hometown of the on-air winner(s) will be announced on the Dave Berry Breakfast Show each day from 02/11/2020- 05/11/2020 between 6am and 10am.   Online Competition:   From 26/10/2020 at 00.01 (Start Date) to 05/11/2020 at 10:00 (End Date).   Online Winner Announcement. The name of the online winner is available on request by emailing win@bauermedia.co.uk   Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.   One entry per person. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. THE PRIZE	The following prizes will be awarded during the competition:   On-air Prizes: There will be 4 x winners of the on on-air competition and each winner will be awarded the following prize:   Up to £2000 Wickes Gift-card to be spent on any product within the Wickes Showroom Bathroom or Takeaway Bathroom range.   All products and installation need to be purchased through a Wickes Design Consultant.    The won prize value is inclusive of all installation costs.   All products from the Showroom range along with installation need to be purchased through a Wickes Design Consultant. Purchasing from the takeaway range can be done directly in store.   Any costs over the won value must be covered by the winner. The winner will not be compensated for any additional costs.   The prize must be redeemed within a year of the date of winning.   The Prize is provided by Wickes, and we are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.   Online Prize: There will be 1 online winner of the online competition and they will be awarded the following prize:   £2000 Wickes Gift-card to be spent on any product within the Wickes Showroom Bathroom or Takeaway Bathroom range   All products and installation need to be purchased through a Wickes Design Consultant.   The won prize value is inclusive of all installation costs.   All products from the Showroom range along with installation need to be purchased through a Wickes Design Consultant. OTHER CONDITIONS

 

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.
   1. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.
   2. Entrants may not enter more than once.
   3. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
   4. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
   5. You are responsible for all costs of entry.
   6. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.
   7. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.
   8. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.
   9. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
