Car crash advice

Options
Hi all this is my first post unsure if its in the right category.

First off I'll explain what happened.

21 10 2020
I was approaching a junction slowing to take a left hand bend. It's a give way so can't be doing more than 15mph about 8 metres away from the junction.
Whilst approaching someone cut the corner without looking and didn't even react to me bang. He hit me drivers side and drivers side of his car.
Long story short at the scene he admitted liability police attended and I believe charged him with careless driving. He was driving a courtesy car as his car was rear ended.
Anyway after a rigmarole and phoning everyone eventually got insurance delt with. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort at the time or even the following hours.

What I've noticed now is my stomach is giving me pain. I believe I have now developed a hernia, necks sore right fore arms sore at my elbow my right hand is giving me issues and my lower back is sore too. I'm having difficulty passing uring and had to squeeze like a champion to have a dump, possible hernia related. As of yet I've not had medical attention or seen a doctor however I will call my doctor tomorrow.

The day after it I had to call the other driver to gain additional info and he said because he is being charged with careless driving he isn't admitting liability anymore. Csnt see this as an issue as police have a report photos etc.

He had his young daughter in the car and it was her who I saw when he hit me. I can't get her face out of head the shock horror and panic however I'm sure that will pass.

My question is can an accident cause me to have a hernia? I'm kind of lost with what to do now and what procedure I should take. Do I phone an insurance claims company, phone the doctor or attend hospital. I don't want to affect any insurance companies with this however my abdomin is giving me pain and causing me lower back pain too. It feels like I cannot relax my back properly as if it's very stiff and tense. My right elbow is extremely painful straight and bent and whilst bending. My right hand is giving me issues whilst trying to grip anything tight. I tried to open pickled eggs in a glass jar and it felt very uncomfortable and painful.

I'm more worried about my stomach though. Right below the trouser line on my left side feels very weak and tender also slightly more bloated on that side hence why I thought of a hernia.
I'll call my doctor tomorrow and explain but any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks very much.

    Get yourself to A & E NOW.
And don't even think of asking for medical advice from a bunch of random strangers.

Calling NHS 111 would be my suggestion, rather than trolling off to either surgery or A&E, given the current scenario...

But, apart from that, @Car_54 is bob-on.

I'm no doctor, but a hernia is a tear in the muscle wall. I can't see how that would happen in a relatively minor side-swipe bump.

    Yes. See a doctor.
I'd be amazed if you got a hernia from a minor RTC. You'd be looking at a tear in the abdominal wall - that requires serious force and would be a serious injury.

Just gone past midnight the OP is in pain after a car accident and his first action is to join MSE and post about it. Makes you wonder.
