I would. I've just read your rants about UK housing on the other thread. You come across as a very hateful person.
Now surely, if you're earning £300k in London, you should be halfway towards saving a very decent deposit on an OLDER house that stood up to the Luftwaffe in WW2 rather than waiting for a Government HTB handout on a cardboard new-build house (One thing we do agree on). But then again, I'm sure you wouldn't want to live in London, what with the 57% of Indians living there (I still have no idea where you got this figure from) :D

    Again...
I don't like UK, no one does, at least no one that I know, mostly foreigners, but I don't see British not depressed too...
London is for sure the worst city in UK, surrounded by the worst cities for social problems mostly, all connected to the financial pressure, don't try to hide it.

I don't earn 300k, Business Insiders mentioned between 100-300k salary in London, where 100 is the minimum, 300 max, and I agree with it. More precisely, with this you live just normally, don't even think about having the millionare life in the little Canary Warf. In all this, if arithmetic is an opinion, it's all your opinion then :D:smile:

I would rather live somewhere else in UK like Edinburgh or Manchester, but ideally, outside UK for sure, I hope you don't crucify my opinion.

So you don't like foreigners*, but want to be one yourself? 🙄

    * Gross generalisation - they may as British as any of us. Skin colour <> nationality.

I said I don't know foreigners that like UK, but also British are of the same opinion :D , not sure who likes to be here tbh.
Why do you need to change my words in something so horrible? I didn't say I don't like foreigners!

I'll make the move when I'll be comfortable to do it, for the moment I rent somewhere else, it's already an improvement :D

What a weird thing to say.
You're blinkered if you think other countries don't have the social problems like we do. France certainly do (I spent a lot of time in France). Poland do (as per previous). I'd be very surprised if Italy doesn't.
I have absolutely no idea why you're living here?

As for people not liking living here, I think most people do. We're a great nation. Whilst people might moan about the weather, it's a fairly mild weather system. We get very few days over 30c (people in this country moan like mad when it gets hot). And we get very few snow days, particularly in the South where some areas rarely if ever get them! Those who live in the South West, particularly, get very few days below 0c.

It's easy to sit outside and make an assumption about British people. In the same way I could say that from the outside, Italians are brash, right-wing and think they're better than everyone else. I'm pretty sure they're not. But just because your values are different to ours, doesn't make us wrong.

London (and its outlying area) is definitely not representative of the country. Nothing against anyone who lives there (some of my family do), but as a countryside-born person, I have no wish to live in a city and I don't. I live in a village in Buckinghamshire which gives me access to everything I want from local towns and cities (I can get into central London in under half an hour by train) but have farms and nature surrounding me. In fact, many people who live nearby are prepared to pay the £6k to travel into London every day, knowing that house prices are considerably less than half with generous gardens and countryside on tap.
As I get older and have no reason to live near a city, my wife and I fully intend to move out to the coast, hopefully in a fairly rural and remote area.

Again, I've yet to understand the attraction of Manchester. My wife is from there and has no wish to ever return. My Son lives there. He tells me it's great for young people because it's so vibrant, but can understand that if your life doesn't revolve around alcohol and socialising that it may not be attractive for middle-aged folk.

If you're involved in the financial industry and simply chasing money and you don't like London, I'd recommend the Netherlands or Switzerland. Edinburgh could be interesting too, although I don't think you'll earn the kind of money you could in London (I could be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure we pay our banking folk much less than the ones in London).
