Rake worm casts?

Hi,
Quick question, does anyone rake worm casts to spread them over the lawn? I don't mind seeing them and I don't mind the worms, I just wondered if it's worth spreading them out?
Cheers

If you don't mind them the rain will soon flatten or disperse them for you at this time of year.
If you have a pristine lawn you may want to rake them off but if it leaves a bear patch in the lawn weed seeds can get in more easily.
Not many worms leave casts. If those multiply a lot then it could leave a lot more casts and be a pest, only time will tell.

  • Cheers, my Blink camera picks them up quite well at night using infrared, pretty much all those brown bits on the lawn.
  • In my last garden they covered 98% of the lawn, i gardened on thin, poor, soil and they made my lawn their own housing estate.
I just left mine alone and accepted it was always going to be.
Here, on sand though - not a sign 😉
  • I have loads all over my garden I just sweep them back into the grass.
