Just Giving Crowdfunding withdrawal issues

Hi I’m just wondering if anybody has experienced similar problems when trying to set up your bank details with JustGiving? We’re raising money for some specialised disability equipment through crowdfunding on JustGiving. I set up the JustGiving page and a few days later was asked to send over bank details for where the money would eventually be sent. I opened up a separate bank account just for this money as I don’t have a savings account so had no other way of keeping it separate, but when I entered the details it kept declining. I was then asked to send over my ID and a bank statement showing my address. I’ve sent the ID and a screenshot of the bank account (I have no bank statement as I haven’t used the account before). Is the problem likely to be because it’s a new account? The only other account I have is my main current account which is with Nationwide but the website says they don’t pay out to building society’s and that would include Nationwide right? If anybody can help I’d really appreciate it, the only way I can contact them is via email so it’s taking a while for them to get back to me.

The new account - was it opened just in your name or in the name of the disability collection?
Just wondered how you managed to open a business or club/society account so quickly when all the banks have stopped opening them for now?
