    AV comparatives always been my go to for a running list of best AV over many years .
    Based upon many years top rankings Eset or Kaspersky are the only ones i ever use .

    Others are free to use any or non .

    If people are hell bent on paying for something to make them feel more secure, then there is nothing anyone can do to change there minds.
    Personally, I've never paid for AV and have never been attacked by a virus, even when surfing in some fairly murky places. There doesn't seem to be the amount of virus about that there once was, so, I'll continue not paying out for my AV.
