Exchange of information between HMRC and credit rating agencies

Can credit rating agencies obtain any information from HMRC?

    You misunderstand how credit reference agencies work. Companies provide them with data, rather than the other way round.

    In any case tax isnt "credit".
  • I know that HMRC can access data collected by credit reference agencies. From what you suggest it seems that does not work the other way round, i.e. data can not flow from HMRC to the credit reference agency. Is that correct?

    HMRC do not pass data to the credit reference agencies.
