EDF can’t get my smart meter (smets2)working)

I have a smart meter. Installed about a year and a half ago. Since switching EDF have struggled to get it working on their systems. They sent a engineer. Who went and it still don’t work. What now? It’s smets 2

    Ask them to change it.
    They however can charge or just refuse (and ask you to submit reads). It will also be low priority work.
    Or change supplier again and see if someone else can get it working.

    You seem to have been taken in by the misinformation spread by the industry that smart meters, especially those to the later standard, will be compatible across suppliers.  The whole programme has been an utter shambles from the outset.

    It involves the energy industry, the outcome was inevitable. They've struggled on 1 reading a month for years, and we expect them to handle 48 a day!!

    We desperately need more new kids like Octopus on the block.
