I must have dreamt it, or more likely saw it as a policy term on another type of insurance. I have had a look at some specimen policy documents on line and as you say 10-14 days seems to be quite common. I feel a bit more confident now about shopping around.elsien said:New policies generally exclude claims for the first 14 days of cover. I’m not sure where you’ve had 6 months from.

Our normally healthy spaniel has just had back surgery, cost £7k our insurance covered £5k we paid the rest. Now any more back problems are not covered so worried about that.0
