Hi everyone, hope someone can help.
I have always been using FB on my phone and had logging saved there but my bag was stolen few weeks ago and the hone was inside.
My FB account was set up on the email and phone number I no longer have access to but my new number was set up there as well.
I have gone through the process of having 3 "friends" sending me a code, that was fine but I still can not get back into FB.
I go to a logging page, put in my my new phone number (which was set on the FB) and a new password, FB sends me an sms to my number, I enter that too, then I am asked to confirm new email and number that I want to use which I do, all is fine, I click ok and this is where I get stuck:
1) Clicking OK on the page does not go anywhere the page just stays as it is
2) I get an email with a code to enter but I have nowhere to enter that code as page with the "ok" is not changing and if I click the OK again it comes up wit a message "we limit blah blah blah and I am locked out completely
So as all goes well till the point of FB sending me an 8 digit code to my email and only then the problem starts as there is nowhere for me to enter that 8 digit code - how on eart can I get back into my FB account?
As we all know their support is non existent - they refer you to their help page where to post a question you need to be logged in ...
Anyone can advise how can I get round that email code/nowhere to put in and get back into my account?
Many thanks

Sorry, should have added - tried to above on both Chrome and Edge.
Also tried on the phone (android) but that is even orse as get to the last stage and "connection lost" comes up - tried uninstalling/installing FB app , clearing cache, restarting the phone - nope, always "connection lost"0 -
"Connection lost" seems like a connection is lost, maybe Wi-Fi or data. Is your Wi-Fi turned on whilst you are trying to recover your FB account?1
-
No, it is not that -my connection is fine, the error I am getting is another common issue people get trying to reset their FB account from what I have found out from googling this issue but nobody seems to find a way to get past it0
-
Nobody came across this issue before?
Many thanks0 -

-

-
