Adding son to home insurance policy

My home insurance runs out tomorrow. I’ve done a comparison and want to go with Halifax. My son has moved back home and started a Uni course. What would be the advantage/disadvantage of adding his name to the policy. He made a small claim (£150) for electrical equipment on his first year Uni hall’s insurance three years ago.
I phoned Halifax but they are closed till Monday.

Don't think you would need to add his name as such, he would just be included in your answers to any "who else lives in the property" questions.1
