sending things between devices

I had a laptop and phone and chromebook all using the same google account on my laptop i can right click on a photo/webpage and send it direct to my phone or chromebook. How do i send things from mobile to laptop/chromebook can't seem to figure it out.

Hi thanks for the reply when I go to share it doesn't come up with Chrome.

Which browser are you using? obviously should be chrome AND be logged in.

I often find it easier to forward as attachment to an e mail.

Hi Yes that's how i have been doing it. Was just wondering how to do it the other way, as mentioned above.

My pathway is share then "send to your devices" which has the chrome logo.

You need to swipe up after tapping share to view the full range of options available, it should be at the top without swiping but maybe lurking at the bottom.

Thanks but the chrome logo is not one of the options. Is there something I have to set up to get this working. I can send from Laptop to Phone but not phone to Laptop.

On your phone while in Chrome, tap settings and see if Sync & Google services is off or on, as it needs to be on for share to work I believe.

Otherwise, you could delete Chrome off your phone, reinstall to see if it then works.

Thats sorted it thanks one of the suggestions in the first link did it. I'm embarrassed  to say that chrome on the phone needed updating. A silly school boy error. Thanks to everyone thats comment.
