Is the Scottish govt increasing the threshold before payments start for deduction towards student loan? There was talk of increasing to the £25k mark believe it's £18k now.

Repayment amounts
There will be an income level (a threshold) below which you will not have to make any repayments at all. The current threshold is £19,390 each year before deductions.
The Scottish Government have committed to raising the repayment threshold to £25,000 by April 2021.
