Hi
I am seeking guidance for my son who is being made redundant and just wondering what the situation is regarding pay rate. He has been there four years and is 22. He has been furloughed since March and at that time his hourly rate was £7.75 per hour - his redundancy notice period started on 13th October and they have said his notice and holiday pay will be paid at £7.75 - is that correct or should it be Minimum wage reflecting the increase in April 2020?
Thanks

Should be min wage for the notice pay.
Not sure if the 12month average for holiday pay is allowed to go under current min wage.
I would tell them it needs to be min wage unless they come back with the legislation that says it can be under.2 -
Thank you that's what I thought0
