Kids GPS Tracker

Looking for some help on finding a GPS tracker (preferably a werable watch) that I can give to my daughter (8) so I know her whereabouts as she plays at the local swing park.
I have googled this but although there are many "activity" trackers available I'm struggling to find one that had permanent GPS on allowing parents to track on an app on their smart phone and to set boundaries etc.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Last time this came up:Consensus was basically don't go there. If you're that fussed and/or that worried, go with your child yourself and hide behind a bush or something while she's on the swings and use your eyes to observe her rather than what your phone's doing.0

Ahh ok. Seemed a good idea to me but I can see the issues with GPS accuracy etc.0

Vodafone have recently released their "Curve" which is a great, affordable, real time GPS tracker...

Alternatively you could go with something like Tile (https://www.thetileapp.com/en-gb/) or Chipolo (https://chipolo.net/en/) for a 'crowd gps' solution?0 -
Anything that uses crowd gps and bluetooth is a big fail. Not enough users with the app installed and running for
that to be viable, never mind the limited range also.

I just wouldn’t go there, a lot of cheap ones are easily hackable and a security threat.0

I don't know about tracking kids but if you want to track your cat or dog?

Cat and dog tracking isn't an issue, and can be useful if the dog is stolen to find them (cats as well to an extent but they'll pretty much do what they like anyway so by the time you've found them they've wandered off anyway so the only real benefit in tracking them is to be nosey and find out where all the "presents" they bring back are coming from). The animals can and will to a large extent look after themselves anyway if they're lost and 9 times out of ten they find their own way home. Kid tracking? Questionable at best. The solution I suspect sought by the OP is one where you flick a switch and it can find the exact leaf Stepanie is standing on at that point in time. You see it a lot in films where they want to find/trace somebody and they get a signal/intelligence/hunch from an underground bunker and half the army goes off to find Mr Big two seconds later in said bunker. The reality is very different.

I've heard there is a tracker that you can set a boundary and if chils leaves boundary you receive an alert. Where I found or read this I can seem to place now.0

Whilst the device may enable you to track your child's location, chances are it will allow others to do so too.A dream is not reality, but who's to say which is which?0
