THE YORKSHIRE VET S11 COMPETITION 2 – ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Competition opened at midday on 20.10.2020
• Competition closes at midday on 18.03.2021 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1) The prize comprises a three (3) night stay in Yorkshire for up to six (6) people including;
a) An allowance of £300 towards UK travel costs made payable to the winner in the form of a BACS transfer.
b) Three (3) nights’ Luxury Lakeside Lodge accommodation at Brompton Lakes, Richmond
c) Supermarket food delivery on arrival up to the value of £200
d) One evening of chef produced 3 course meal in the privacy of the Lodge. Guests will have a choice of 3 courses from a menu.
e) 3-hour taster session of stand up paddle boarding at Ellerton Lake
f) £500 spending money
2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the lodge. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
3) The prize must be taken before 30th June 2022 but cannot be taken on or between the following dates: 1st to 19th April 2021, 15th December 2021 to 5th January 2022 and 1st to 18th April 2022. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions.
4) Booking is subject to availability.
5) A cheque or bank transfer for the £500 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed
6) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

7) Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
8) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
9) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
10) An allowance towards UK travel costs will be provided to the winner only. The allowance is calculated at a set maximum of £50 per guest and will be made payable to the winner at the time of accommodation booking by the prize provider as a BACs transfer. This travel allowance will be paid to the winner up to a maximum of 6 guests/£300. Neither Channel 5 nor the prize provider are responsible for organising travel arrangements for this prize, it will be the winners responsibility to organise this appropriately throughout their stay unless otherwise stated.
