Capquest text messages and calls

I had been receiving text messages the last 3 weeks but thought it was a scam. They have contacted me today to say I have an outstanding debt from 2009 and I had a ccj taken against me.  They want me to pay £380. I know for a fact I have no debts as when I was trying to get a mortgage I had to clear done bills run up by ex. I have never had a ccj on my credit file although 7/8 years ago credit rating was poor but pretty good now. They are calling me back Monday to see how I want to proceed but seriously i know I have no debts and it’s from 2009!

Dont stress, they do this regularly ring them up and confirm with them that it is mistaken identity. People on the Debt Free Wannabe thread will have more information about how to proceed if they dont back down.
