Online banking, why can't I...

Remove contacts from my payment list?   I use TSB and my DD uses HSBC neither of them have a straight forward way of deleting contacts on the list of recipients.  We can add new recipients but not delete old ones!
Anyone know how to do this?  I did try to phone TSB but they are very busy as usual.

On your payment list is there an 'x' on right hand side?
If so click it.

I'm not sure what you mean "delete recipients"  

On TSB - select Direct Debits and Standing Orders - press Cancel.

Sorry I do not have that on my account.  I have set up a standing order but that just goes to a long form to fill in with new recepient details just like the make a payment page. Neither have an option to remove a DD or recipient.
No X on the right either!

I know what you mean - a list of people you have made a faster payment to.  I bank with TSB and no, can't find a way to remove a recipient from that list. I think they drop off if a payment hasn't been made to that person in a while.

On faster payments I have "delete recipient" and on direct debits I have "cancel". I don't use standing orders so I've no idea what's there.

TSB has "Delete Recipient" under the "UK & International Payments" tab.

As DL says there seems no way todelete them.  EE how do i get to faster payments?  i have "make a payment"  or "make a transfer"  the former takes me to "pay an account" or  "make a transfer",   Pay an account I can see a list, I can add to the list but I cannot delete anyone and the list contains accounts I have not paid into for several years.

Oh I say !  So it does !  Many thanks molerat - I've banked with them for more than half my life and I never knew this..... Duh !

I must be thick as yet again I cannot find that! Please take me step by step.  If I click on make a payment I get this   https://imgur.comXXXXXX  Where do I find  "uk & international payments" tab?

On Barclays, the 'recipients' are deleted after a time period if you don't send them a payment.
