How do I appeal a parking fine

Hi all,
My husband has received a parking charge notice from Euro Car Parks. He had cash to pay for a ticket but the machines had changed and didn't accept cash, he had no bank card on him so could not pay by phone for parking. He parked at the car park for 46 minutes. He was in a rush to go to Friday prayers. The letter that was sent says no valid pay and display/permit was displayed. There are no photos of the car accept for one of the vehicle registration plate with an entry and exit time underneath it. Can we appeal this ticket, how do we appeal it if we can or should we pay the finest? It was in MFG Lewisham car park.

Start by reading the NEWBIE sticky; you will find it just below where you clicked on the New Thread button. If your husband has received it as registered keeper, any action has to be in his name, although you can help by doing the research.4

He has no defence which is a concern. Never park like that! Move the car.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But there is no appeal to this one. Even I think it was properly issued (but the sum of money is too high, but that's not a defence).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Whilst I respect everyone's right to their faith or beliefs, there was no urgent need to park, and no valid reason why the driver could not have left and parked elsewhere or found a suitable method of payment and then returned, or just gone home.
Bilking (parking and not paying) is one of the reasons why these unregulated parking companies exist. The driver in this case is part of the problem.
The keeper can appeal if they think the ticket was issued incorrectly for some technical reason.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4 -
I don't think you have much of a defence either. However you may just have a slight chance of getting a landowner cancellation. Who knows ... could be the landowner is of the same faith and may therefore understand the sense of urgency. Additionally ... not quite sure how to phrase this ... but while I prefer genuine respect & understanding to knee-jerk political correctness, there's always the possibility that the circumstances may sway the landowner on either basis.
If the car is regularly parked there while attending prayers and, on this one occasion, the change of payment method / lack of an adjacent car park proved very problematic, then emphasise that in a landowner complaint.6 -
I recently won at popla with similar case. Its not impossible to get this cancelled, but its not a certainty either.1
