A black dog day for me as its a year since we lost Bruisemare and we miss her terribly.
laganlongneck had colic AGAIN last  night but has pulled through. She has cost us more in vets fees in less than 12 months than al the rest over 40+ yrs of equine ownership. At least we hadn't spent a fortune buying her. So now we are trying a gut balancer supplement to see if that helps as per our vets' suggestion.
Several fallover juices consumed last night!!!

I've been to the tip, the doc's surgery, the pharmacy, M&S and Boots. There was a wee side trip to the fabulous cake shop, only bought two and gave them to the pharmacist and his assistant.  They have been fantastic during this virus time, especially during the first wave.  It's a small independent business which has really supported their most vulnerable customers.

As for audiobooks, I agree the experience can be made or broken by the narrator.  The book I'm listening to has a good narrator.
