I ampurchasing the following ufh, https://jk-gb.com/ and i will have 4 zones. They recommend to buy genuishub for the thermostat which I do not want as some part of the feature requires monthly membership. What is ideal thermostat to buy which will control gas central heating amd 4 zones ufh. I have read nest is compatible but would require a thermostat for each zone. Also i do not want anything hardwired.
What parts would i need and what costs am i looking at?

JK did our underfloor heating and I switched it on this evening! Yet to discover if it works.I have yet to get my head around IFTTT. I bought Tado smart thermostats because they were half price on Amazon day and already cheaper than the Nest thermostat we're living with in our existing house.I think IFTTT might me interesting for us. We are a mainly Apple device household, but are now the proud owners of a lot of random smart products, so I'm interested in this 🙂Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Let me know how it is. I have it arranged yo be installed in 2 weeks time. But i really need a thermostat because my boiler does not even have timer controls.1

@Doozergirl did you place manifold in kitchen cupboards? My kitchen is already fitted and I am having trouble getting it removed.0

Our manifold is in a cupboard in the hallway, in the centre of the house. It keeps the runs as short as possible. It worked beautifully. It took a few days to get up to 20 degrees but it heated both upstairs and down! It went off again to lay the LVT floor, but so far so good. What are you trying to remove?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Im going for nest. Ordered heatmiser ufh8 and 4 nest 3rd gen. 3 for the 3 zones and 1 for combi boiler.

@Doozergirl i have had mines on now for 1 week on low temp but my ufh temp has not gone up. What have you tried to put on thermostats?
I put 28 on manifold and 21 on nest0 -
I have no idea what the manifold is set to.The UFH is set to 21 downstairs. I haven't been brave enough to set it differently overnight. The upstairs radiators haven't even come on yet! We also have the heat recovery which probably helps a bit.I'm a bit stupid as I expected the floor to feel a little bit warm, but it just feels like a normal floor. There's four adults, essentially, in this house and we're water greedy. We're spending £2 a day in gas at the moment on the BG Standard tariff - waiting for my switch to happen!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Shouldn't it be more like 40 at the manifold?Bonez14 said:@Doozergirl i have had mines on now for 1 week on low temp but my ufh temp has not gone up. What have you tried to put on thermostats?
