Cheap energy club problems
When I do a comparison for dual fuel gas elec on CEC and enter kWh used I get a top saving of approx £150 saving Inc £ 25 cash back.
However, if I put in the amount in money spent instead of kWh I only get £25cashback as savings for the year.
Also, it won't let me enter gas and electric separately.
Another question - do all the switching sites switch automatically without me informing my present provider?

No point in entering your usage in ££ because it's less accurate. Always enter your annual usage in kWh from actual meter readings. The CEC doesn't show all suppliers; try using Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?'. There's not much point in chasing cashback: the cheapest suppliers usually don't offer it. Remember that separate suppliers are often better than dual fuel. When you've decided to switch, the gaining supplier informs the losing supplier.1

Also, I wasn't looking for cashback, I was just laying the facts out.
Thanks for your advice anyway, I will look at the sites you mentioned.0 -

When you enter £, you're relying on the site reverse engineering the tariff you've told it you're on to extract your actual consumption. I guess CEC is crap at doing this - although perhaps you were lucky it knew your tariffs in the first place, as I usually find it doesn't know mine. I don't understand why anyone perseveres with CEC.
