Have I been mislead

Hi,

I would like to make you aware of a deal I have taken via your web site.

I don’t know if I have been mislead or have I interpreted it incorrectly.

It is regarding Broadband and telephone.

I used you checker system to find my deal.

I selected Broadband then

I deselected via the tick box Phone Line Rental read your beware notice and re-selected it.

So far so good found the deal I wanted sign up got my date for the new package.

Got my Installation date Tuesday 20th October 2020 between 1300 – 1600hrs.

Also here I got charged £30 for this and that is not showing on you calculation for the 18 month contact.

We now have our broadband up and running but no phone line.

I though we would have a line so we would get incoming calls and if we made a call out we would have to paid for every minute we use. Where it states no calls included.

My wife and I have mobiles but my mother who is alone and virtually blind and mother in law who has mobility issues always call us on the landline ( They both live 2 hrs away ) their package only covers  landlines.

Please find attached screen shots and then could you please  clarify  where misunderstanding have taken place.

This is a users forum .

Suggest you contact MSE .

Reads as you have misread  .As it clearly states BROADBAND ONLY .

VM does not deliver BB over a landline .

I agree with the OP that the MSE offer is misleading; VM do not appear to offer a phone line with this package so MSE should not display this package when a user ticks the "Phone line rental" box.

If you are complaining  about the unbundled tool .

Please email unbundled@moneysavingexpert.com with full details.

Check VM site to add on phone line etc .
