I've just sent £16K to my Flex Direct account and then logged in. It doesn't give full details and says I do not have any accounts which allow transfers or payments!
I wonder whether this is a system error or personal to me. I'll have to join a queue at a branch, I suppose.

I'll have to join a queue at a branch, I suppose. You’ll probably find they won’t communicate with you while they investigate where this £16k has come from. Also be prepared to show proof of where this money has come from.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
If the above is true and they have blocked your account then I would not waste your time queuing at the branch as they will not be able to help you
you would be better off calling customer services although even they may say they can't help until the investigation is complete1 -
The source of the £16K was from £95K they (Nationwide) sent to one of my other bank current accounts and I'm now losing interest on it. Not a happy bunny, especially as they now have more than £85K of mine.0

Update: Just logged on and everything working properly again. Computer said "yes"!!!0

It would be unusual for an account to be blocked if money was received from an account not only in your name but one which you have sent money from Nationwide in the past ie it is on your payee list
maybe something else is going on1
