Cheap Parking at NCP

I don't consider NCP running a car park a good offer, compared to proper management by the Council (far better and fairer than any PPC). 

Are these car parks operated by ANPR cameras as well as machines? Do the Council realise they are not allowed to run any parking management with ANPR?

Councils need the money so why give it to private companies who serve no purpose in society

I would agree providing the "pay on arrival" allows for a fixed fee for the parking period (preferably a whole day) and doesn't try to catch you out by saying you didn't pay enough.  Who knows how long they need when they enter a car park?
