Morning Campers. Hi-Di-Hi. Can you tell the sun is shining here, it certainly brightens my mood !This morning we shall go and check the van and move it back a bit so the tyres are not in the same place over winter as they were last winter. Sadly the van hasn't been out for over 12mths
. We also need to bring back the long seat cushions and change the moisture traps that we have topped up. ( bought in bulk previously- Mse). We will drop at DD's the birthday presents for DGD and some parcels that have been delivered here, before we turn into an Ama*on warehouse again this year
This afternoon I shall bake my pies, all 4 of them will go in the oven together ( MSE and energy saving). There is some corned beef mash left so I think I'll make mini pasties and freeze them. I'll have to get my chef on making the extra pastry as my elbows know that they had a workout yesterday with all the pastry rolling. There is some leftover fruit too so we'll have that for pudding with ice cream and corned beef pie and oven chips for our tea.
RosyR hope you are ok today and not too stiff.Bella hope the test turns negative, my fingers are crossed. It just may be down to the soakings you've had lately.Mehefin glad the op went well. Shame about the Toxic Troll, perhaps she'll change and surprise you both, with any luck.Scarlet good news on the boiler. Perhaps you could just have the doors and worktops changed in the kitchen ?Right this isn't getting the baby a new bonnet, must get going.Take care all, stay safe and sane in lockdown.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -
I'm back from book decluttering though I had a long wait as I didn't realise that the CS didn't open until 10.00a.m. The time was whiled away by sitting in a wee cafe reading a newspaper and enjoying a coffee.Mehefin - I've just found out that your name is Welsh for June, it's mentioned on the Antiques Roadshow which I recorded on Sunday.Bella - oh, my fingers are tightly crossed for you.TA - I'm another one siding on a change of bed for you. It's a struggle enough these days without dreading changing the bed linen.Rosy - I hope that you're not too stiff or black and blue today.RR - lots of good prepping going on with you. It'll surely make things easier when the time for the op comes, not too long now.10

Hi everyone, I'm pleased to report not too many ill effects from yesterdays fall- just a small graze/bruise on an elbow and a bit of a sore ankle but that's a bit wonky anywayThank you for thinking of meSM delivery due soon, I got all the bags and cloths ready for 10 o clock, only to read the email about subs and noticing it was between 1-2,duh.The corned beef pie with a puff pastry lid was enjoyed by all,I rolled the leftovers into twists, DGD put jam on hersNan I know what you mean about becoming a warehouse. I've just managed to get rid of the curtains and bedding that have been being delivered, & DS keeps 'forgetting ' to take. DH & DS called home as their work stuff hasnt been delivered on the job so they cant do anything & decided to go and build DS new bed up instead. I raced round and put the different packages in a black bin bag for them to take... yay.Every little helps. Not sure on tea, something from the sm shop though.Bella hope you're okBye for now x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
