Bank account for nonprofit that will open quickly?

Does anyone have any recommendations which banks are currently answering their phones and processing applications for a bank account for a non-profit community group? We're a group with a constitution but not a registered charity.
We're having real problems getting through to banks as they're so busy with the pandemic stuff (4 hours on hold just to get cut off for example).
Thanks

Banks will not open this type of account in branch (even pre covid).
Look online - if they are accepting new applications you can do it online.0 -
Metro probably your best bet. But needs to be done in branch.0

I would think that you are probably an "Unincorporated Association". I was the Chairman of such a body (BDRA) for many years, and we banked with Barclays. Here is an extract from the constitutionExCo means Executive Committee. We had four authorised signatories, and were able to handle things with online banking as long as two signatories approved each payment. You should check that whichever bank you are choosing has such a facility. Any bank with which you wish to open an account will probably want to see your constitution or at least the part which relates to financial matters. They will probably also want a copy of the minutes of the management committee meeting at which the decision to appoint them as your bankers was made.a. The Treasurer shall on behalf of the ExCo be responsible for the proper management of all BDRA’s financial affairs and control of its assets, and shall keep the ExCo informed about the financial status at each meeting.b. Accounts, providing a fair and true view, shall be maintained, independently examined, and presented to the AGM.c. All disbursements from BDRA bank accounts or other investments, whether by means of cheque, online banking, or any other method, shall require the approval of two authorised signatories. Authorised signatories shall be members of the ExCo. Transfers of funds between BDRA accounts may be conducted on the sole authority of the Treasurer. Disbursements of significant value must be approved by the ExCo, and the ExCo shall have authority to establish the applicable value limit, and which exceptions shall be made for reasons of practicality and convenience.d. All monies collected on behalf of the BDRA by whoever, must be paid into the Bank under advice to the Treasurer.e. BDRA’s financial year shall be determined by the ExCo, subject to approval at the AGM.0
