PCN Parking Suspension - Camden Appeal

Hi All,
I'm new to the MSE gang and this is my first post on here. I just wanted some help regarding a parking ticket I received on a street I regularly park at just outside my flats. At least three cars, including mine, were caught out by this parking suspension which seems to have come out of nowhere. The contravention relates to '[21] Parked wholly or partly in a suspended bay or space' and i wish to appeal it on the grounds that no contravention occurred.
The suspension location was not very clear in the first instance, it states "LOCATION: Outside Thirlmere, Five Car Spaces Within The Bay Closest to Wasdale". Now i've had a look at Google Maps streetview and i'm not convinced that my car was within the '5 car spaces' restriction. Even so, how is a reasonable motorist meant to calculate 5 car length spaces - are we meant to get our measuring tapes out?
Below I post a Google Maps street view of where i was parked at the time of the contravention.

Now I post the picture evidence from the CEO

Based on these pictures, could it possibly be argued that my car is not within the 5 car parking spaces? Looking at the Google Maps image, my car looks just about out of the 5 car space tolerance - although it is hard to be certain and the parking suspension sign should have been a bit more clearer. Also, with so many people being caught out by this suspension, i'm convinced there was not enough prior warning when erecting the suspension on the road, as resident holders we are surely not required to look out for suspension especially when this particular suspension sign was not very close to me and a lampost (seen in first pic of car) can be seen which would have been better to let me know the car was in suspended bay. I would appreciate any help/advice on this, do i have grounds to appeal this due to ambigious signage, and also arguable being outside the '5 car parking space' restriction?
Thanks all in advance. Please let me know if you need any more info/details.

As we major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Register there but please note that a hotmail address won't work - try using a throwaway gmail account instead if you do have trouble registering and post a new thread; here's your link:Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
