EV outlet install seems like a lot of money

Hi! I'm in Texas US and I need a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in a new house with brick siding and solar panels. The outside panel guts need to be replaced to make room for the EV breaker and then wiring needs to be driven through the wall where the 2 gang remodel box and the outlet will be installed. The quote he gave was 2363 for both jobs. Is this on par with similar jobs?

Hello. This is a UK forum and I doubt whether any one here will be able to tell with any degree of accuracy whether that quote is reasonable or not. You would probably get more accurate advice by posting on a USA based forum.
