Hi All
Estate agent has said the following and am not sure what it means “ must stress that enquires regarding the sale after the point of which the survey has been completed will fall on the responsibility of your selected solicitor.”
Does it mean if survey picks up major issues that discussion is through the solicitors for rectification or reduction in price?
thanks

You can only ask questions through your conveyancing solicitor after you've had the survey?

Legal questions brought up in the survey (Section I for your legal adviser) - refer to your solicitor
Price negotiations following issues brought up in the survey - refer to the estate agent
Perhaps the estate agent doesn't think sales progression is part of his job?!0 -
Is the EA paid on completion? If so, that's a strange strategy for getting paid.
Or was the EA paid a fee in advance? If so, the EA might not be too bothered about whether the sale reaches exchange/completion.

Their client is the vendor. All enquiries regarding the property need to be made through the proper channels. Your solicitor also represents the mortgage lender.paul82uk said:
