Plus they had a good cleansing selection and a keenly priced display with things like cotton wool pads, foam applicators, makeup brushes, nail files and so on.
The displays reminded me very much of what B*ots used to be like with everything laid out so that you could look at it all and probably end up only buying one or two things but with hindsight they were creating future customers by showing you what you might save up for I think. Anyway, if you've got a branch of Prim*rk have a look in there if you can spare the time.2 -

If she is into nail varnish I would definitely recommend Barry M. They have lots of lovely shades and it’s fairly cheap but good quality. Bring a bit of a “nail hound” I have found that price and quality aren’t necessarily related. I splashed out once and bought some Estée Lauder because the shade was amazing. Unfortunately it kept peeling at the edges so I contacted them. They sent me a cheque for the full cost.
we have a TKMaxx very near and I often buy make up from them. There’s tons of stuff to choose from and the prices are very low.1
