Companies with onshore employment polices

Hi, newbie here so be gentle.
Having just read a story about BT sacking UK jobs for offshore employment. Where can I get info on companies who have an onshore job policy?

If it's work that can be done from anywhere in the world [on line] then no company will always have onshore
The only was to guarantee on shore is where employees have to be in a physical location, such as a warehouses, dockside, shops, aircraft handling, construction etc

If this query relates to energy companies, then, since 4 of the Big Six are owned by groups based outside the UK (in Spain, France and Germany), the concept of offshore/onshore is an arbitrary one anyway.
