The little sachets with crystals in them that come with everything from shoes to binoculars are great for keeping damp out of seeds that are to be stored for a time.2

Re tomato seeds - I regularly use the seeds of the tomatos I like, but instead of putting them on kitchen towel to dry, I use a bit of baking paper as they don't stick on it. Leave for a couple of days to dry, then store in an envelope (I use recycled or catalogue/charity envelopes).2

Bought chillies pack (45p) from Tesco, painted seeds from them and have got loads of chillies - so easy.
Also, got 3 strawberry plants from Lidl - not only got plenty of strawberries but have now 25 plants taken from runners
