Walton Wilkins T/a Premier Parking Logistics and dcb legal

Hoping somebody can provide some advise on how best to handle this situation!
Back in early 2018 I received a couple of parking charge notices for parking on a piece of private land. The parking charges were issued by Walton Wilkins T/a Premier Parking Logistics and from what I can remember were very high (£100, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days). I decided not to pay based on information I read online about the company and ignored a couple of follow up letters.
Over two years later (today), I have received a letter from dcb legal stating that I need to pay £800 to avoid court action. They have included a list of the PCN's - 5 in total - however I am confident that only 2 are me! 2 of the fines are supposedly from the same day, but in completely different locations (one location I have never been to in my life).
Previous advise has been to ignore any attempts of contact however I am feeling anxious after receiving this particular letter as it is such a huge amount of money and the firm looks like a Solicitors?
If anybody has any advise on this it would be greatly appreciate! Should I continue to stay quiet, or should I respond and try to fight it?
Thank you in advance!

Plenty of these at the moment , read other dcbl and PPL threads , follow the same advice in those , it's nothing new , but do not ignore , do a SAR and a suitable reply3

The sum is irrelevant, the more money they want the tighter their case has to be, Solicitors who represent these scmmers are very low rent indeed.Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, sometimes it can lead to cancellation.,
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers. On 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, and hopefully this will become law shortly
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
I followed advice and responded to DCB legal denying any knowledge of the PCN's they refer to and requesting proof including time & date stamped pictures of the vehicle, clear signage and pay & display machine for each charge (they are claiming 5). DCB Legal have responded with photocopies of letters and a few pictures of the vehicle but no signage or proof of the machine. Every single on of the PCN's has insufficient evidence and one is being claimed for a location I have never even been to, even though the photos match that of another car park being referenced to!
I have spent the last 2.5 hours reading through the threads online and understand that I should 1. complain to my local MP (will do this on Monday) and 2. submit a acknowledgement of claim - however I can not find a password so am unsure if my case has gotten to the right stage yet?
If somebody can help I would really appreciate it!1 -
Please see my response on the Template Defence thread that you also posted on. Have you actually received a N1 claim form? If so what is the date of issue of that form?4

2. As Le_Kirk suggests, you cannot Acknowledge Service of a Claim until you have actually received a Claim.5 -

In other words a "half c*cked" response from DCBL ? How much extra are they trying to claim above the ticket prices ??
Could you explain in more detail this ...

If you haven't got a court claim then you have nothing to acknowledge or defend.I followed advice and responded to DCB legal denying any knowledge of the PCN's they refer to and requesting proof including time & date stamped pictures of the vehicle, clear signage and pay & display machine for each charge (they are claiming 5). They are abysmal at them, IMHO.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you all for your help! It looks like my letter of claim from DCBLegal isn’t the claim letter (N1) that was being referred to in the original thread.I will email my MP tomorrow to complain about this harassment and wait for the next stage to come.
With regards to the PCN for an address I have never been to, the original letter states that I was parked somewhere in West Bromwich (a city I have never been to let alone the road they are stating). When I received the few photographs from DCBLegal to ‘prove’ this, they have sent a photograph of my car in the car park that relates to the other PCNs (in Birmingham City Centre). Looks like an error on their behalf with the address but certainly makes my claim easier, especially as there is no proof of signage or machine for that car park.1 -
Don't tip them off again about that...what will be best, is if they do NOT put right that error in the particulars of claim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
