What are these cameras for?
Options
Heya, just came down to Newham London and seen these cameras, they are all along the street, does anyone no what they are used for?
I accidently turned onto a no entry road, which I noticed too late, so my fault entirely. Not sure if these cameras are used to detect it or are they for normal surveillance.
Does anyone know what each cameras role is? I have attached pictures of them.

As above. Whilst in theory they could use them to record your transgression, in reality the chances of this happening are slim to none.

Except in George Orwell's world the cameras would have been manned. In all probability nobody will be looking at these except when there has been a major incident and they need information.0 -

Welcome to George Orwell's 1984.Quite possibly. If it is a well sitedbus lane, it is financially (£60 a pop and the council keep the money) worth either monitoring it live, or reviewing the recordings from peak periods. It wasn't rocket science to use movement in a specific zone to trigger a recording or a time marker 20 years ago.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)
