Thank you for all your help on this. Just one question popped into my head. Would there be a ceiling amount I could spend on a new vehicle?I am not looking to purchase a brand new one with Bells and whistles, but I have more than the average number of children living at home with me, and often have my grandsons come to stay, so need a larger than average vehicle.
My current vehicle is a larger than standard one as well (more than 7 seats)0 -
No there isn't. Just make sure you keep all the paper work and receipts because when you do reclaim benefits they may ask for evidence of what you spent the money on.DivorcedOne said:Thank you for all your help on this. As previously advised the rules are not fixed. Expenditure needs to be reasonable in the circumstances. If your circumstances justify having a larger vehicle that will obviously cost more.DivorcedOne said: Thank you for all your help on this. Just one question popped into my head.
