    @fred246 Have you done this? Has the DC transaction happened? Did you get the Halifax reward?
    ETA: I don't have an account with HSDL so can't check but the web site says 'regular investment by direct debit'. Is this what you believe will qualify for the Hfax £5 Reward?

    I paid £500 into Iweb near the end of a month, earning £5 from Halifax bank, then the rest of my intended investment at the beginning of the next month, earning another £5 from Halifax bank. I then paid Halifax Share Dealing Ltd t/a IWEB £5 to make the investment. Net result, invested for free, and a further £5 in my bank account.
