German Kitchen advice

Hi all,
I don’t tend to post very regularly but love looking through the forum. Looking for some advice with kitchens, we are in the market for a German kitchen. So far have liked the Leicht Concrete-C range. Our only concern was how durable would these doors be and if they are likely to be harder to maintain?

We also looked at the Next 125 ceramic doors but again wondered if they will be hard wearing given the premium cost?
Any thoughts would be gratefully received. We have been told by all the kitchen companies that laminate doors and the most hard wearing so then wonder why we are paying for a finish that may or may not be as durable
thanks in advance

I really should just lurk, but I'll give my 2p worth (although you don't have to pay even that).
We had a relatively cheap kitchen installed 22 years ago, and it's lasted. The doors are solid wood, and painted. Just painted wood. We had them repainted 10 years ago, as they were starting to look a bit worn. That's just a guy with a paint brush. I've kept a note of the paint colour, in case we need to touch it up again, and indeed a couple of doors could do with that.
If you go for a high gloss finish, sooner or later it will get damaged. You can't just paint it, so you either live with the damage or you're dependent on the original company having spares. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
Plus gloss will date quickly. I'v been around the block enough to remember the first time people thought it was a good idea. Not for me, I personally hate it.GDB2222 said:If you go for a high gloss finish, sooner or later it will get damaged. So much to read, so little time.1
