Well , I was hoping for a more insightfull standard of help from this site.Mickey666 said:Google ‘cheap laser printer’ ?I assumed you were, but without additional information such simplistic questions are basically unanswerable, thereby requiring people to waste their time posting more questions about what you really want - as we have now seen in this thread and many others.TBH, it's lazy and disrespectful to the people on here who freely give their time to help.FWIW, I use a wifi-connected HP Laserjet P1102w monochrome printer. It's a superseded model but there are many equivalents for around £80. I use compatible toner cartridges from printerinks.co.uk at around £30 each (less with periodic discount offers), giving around 1600 pages for less than 2p/sheet. I've had it for over four years, it has never missed a beat and is still going strong.

I recommend Brother HL-L2350DW, it is cheap and it does the job.1

Yes, that's what I bought a few months ago. Currently £130 on Amazon but if you keep an eye on it then it occasionally drops in price.Granivorous said:I recommend Brother HL-L2350DW, it is cheap and it does the job.
Not the fastest printer in the world but it's fine for occasional home use and the double sided printing is a big benefit. Setup is a bit fiddly but otherwise I've had no problems.

I have a samsung 2026w, cost about £60 and toner compatables are about £12-14

I took advantage of the £35 A3 brother MFC-J6530DW massive but handy.

<£20 for a full set of large carts first set lasted over 2 years I leave the printer on to protect the heads..
previous brother A4 AIO lasted 11 years before the paper feed broke.
No time machine to get the old deals....message is I like the brother products and when there are cashback deals where you can get bargains(none at the moment.).

I think printers have been popular with WFH so deals are thin on the ground.
