Buyer leaves negative feedback without giving me chance to resolve

There are a lot of people, a lot, who are only casual buyers on ebay and who take the feedback thing quite literally. If the purchase doesn't live up to expectation then as far as they're concerned it is a negative experience. All the EBay buyer protection systems in the world will not make a blind bit of difference to them, in fact many don't even know that it exists. Nope, it's best not expect any buyer to contact a seller 'try to resolve' a poor buying experience. All you can do is try to cover all the bases before sending the order out. Negative feedback from these buyers is unfortunately an occupational hazard.

Chat is terrible in my experience. Hubb, have you tried calling eBay and speaking to them over the phone? You might have to try a few different options on the "help and contact" pages until you find one that says "call us" or "have us call you".
