My supplier was taken over by British Gas (not the supplier I would have chosen).
Any way the change over was last week and since then both my smart meter have said I have used nothing. I have tried talking to them on that app thing but after being asked this and that the meters are still not working.
Any advice anyone please.

Are you talking about the In House Display (IHD) that sits in your kitchen or the Smart Meters themselves that are in the garage or an outdoor meter box.?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

    Yes it was Robin Hood.
The indoor ones. They both say £0.

The shiny toy won't work for the foreseeable future because the smart meters have gone dumb.  You'll just have to read the meters on the wall and send the readings every month.
  • That hasn’t happened when I’ve changed before.
There was nothing in the welcome pack about that.

It was explained in the FAQs.
    2. What will happen to my Smart meter?

    A. It is likely you will lose your smart meter capability when you transfer. If you want to would like a British Gas smart meter fitted, you can arrange this once they supply you and there may be a charge for this.

It's a national problem, all part of the smart meter fiasco.  There's nothing you can do about it and it's not worth worrying about it. Pop the IHD in a drawer and check whether it works each time the clocks go back or forward.
