Funding for masters if you already have a masters

Hello. I am considering a masters degree but am concerned about how to fund myself. I already have a masters but self funded for this. I understand that even though I did not take out the postgraduate loan for my first masters I am now ineligible for this fund as I have a masters. I was just wondering what other people have done in this situation? Any advise would be wonderful. Many thanks Catherine

Here's some helpful info from this very site -

It appears that you can't have funding for a Masters if you already have one. Not sure why you'd want another one though - why not go higher? PhD? You'd probably qualify for funding then. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Out of interest, is there a central database anywhere that records such things as educational qualifications? Obviously, student loans can be fairly easily tracked, but how can anyone find out, or even verify, what educational qualifications someone has?

If the course you would like to take is in a STEM subject then you are still eligible for the loan.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think it seems I will have to source funding elsewhere and unfortunately it is not a Stem subject but thanks for the suggestion.0
