A crap app? Does it matter - don't go there, it is a scam site.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Absolutely, otherwise you'll be back here with a £100 penalty, facing either 6 years of harassment or a court case, if you're lucky!Coupon-mad said:A crap app? Does it matter - don't go there, it is a scam site.
Please find a council car park nearby. Greater certainty, fines (if incurred) more straightforward to challenge. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

We don't keep a record of apps by car park. Why not do a forum search on keywords 'Wells parking' and 'Wells app' and see if other posters have referenced it - we have a good number of different cases about that car park. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Some of the Wells-Next-Sea threads mention an app.
Why not PM the poster and ask them which one?

Pity you didn't tell us the full story from the outset. Where exactly are you with this, what have you done so far, what exactly are you looking for from the forum?molokoid said:yes, i have done a general web search and a forum search, can't find the specific info hence the question here. Of course you could always phone the Harbour Board on Monday and ask them - saying something like you are planning to visit next week and don't want to waste time on the day downloading the app and risking a PCN while doing so.
And surely Civil Enforcement will be able to answer that question too - but they might wonder how you know that CEL are involved.

Just because an app was used to pay for parking , it does not prove the car park operator was actually paid , or even received the correct information

What is the Issue Date of your County Court Claim Form?
On what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.2 -
It's just that selectively drip-feeding bits of info determined only by you, causes additional work in trying to extract the full story so that the small number of regulars who advise here can get into top gear rather than into just first or second, sometimes having to engage reverse, so we can get the full story to enable us to advise you optimally. That's about it.molokoid said:@Umkomaas Apologies, i was trying to keep it simple. At the moment the acknowledgement has been filed and intending to use the templated defence letter. The situation is that parking was paid for on the day in question as far as we can recall correctly. How can i be certain?... I can't, but we visit Wells many times a year, i have annual passes for the Holkham estate owned car parks and i'm aware of the trouble people have with this particular car park.
Hopefully i haven't annoyed anyone. I may well be back for help once i'm in the depths of the defence and then WS!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
