Hi, clicked on a search result (for Ebay) on Bing and triggered a malware 'your PC is locked' warning claiming to be coming from McAfee and telling me to phone. I do have McAfee and have set it to run a full scan, I've also cleared cookies, history etc. Is there anything else I should do or will that be sufficient?

Download and run Malwarebytes.
Make sure you use the free version.1 -
Did cross my mind, last time I ran it McAfee didn't like it, will give it another go to be on safe side.0

Looks like spoof message trying to get you click on a dodgy link.
If it’s being triggered by malware then as @Neil49 suggests a Malwarebytes scan should sort it out.On the other hand it could be “popping-up” via a web push notification in your browser which you can usually switch off in Notifications in the browser’s Privacy/Security settings. If your OS is Windows 10 I would ditch Mcafee and just use Windows Defender.0 -
I would ditch McAfee no matter what the OS. I had someone keep bringing their infected computer to me with
that on it. Obviously didn't work. But they kept installing it because they paid for it.
