Does anyone get The Daily Mail?

Many Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place. Please feel free to direct me to the correct place.
I am registered with MyMail and their latest email is offering a competition To WIN A £250,000 DREAM HOLIDAY HOME
MyMail, The Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday often run these types of competitions whereby a "daily code" "unique number" is required to enter. I don't purchase the newspaper so cannot enter.
Does anyone purchase the newspaper and can they help with the codes?
I know other newspapers do similar but again if you don't purchase or have access to the codes you can't enter.
Perhaps there is somewhere online that I and many others can access the codes for free? Cheeky I know!!!!
As the saying goes "If you don't ask you don't get"
Many regards

There is a daily mail reward club thread here, maybe they have spare codes but if it is unique numbers then there probably would not be many spares about - might be a few if you don't need to collect for everyday they are published say 15 needed out of 20. I am sure there was a newspaper thread somewhere on MSE but I cannot find it

molly57. said:Thank You mjm3346. I think what they mean by "Unique" is a different number or code for each day. So I'm guessing that all newspapers for Monday will have one code and then Tuesday's will be a different code. They could of course print different codes in different batches of the newspaper so there would be "Unique" codes every day.
So for example they want five unique codes between 17th and 23rd October and that would be five out of seven printed.
(I am sure in the past the codes have simply been different each day like the Sun holiday)

molly57. said:mjm3346. I've posted this on the link you gave me for the Mail Rewards. My memory of these sort of competitions goes back years and that is what I am basing my thoughts on. That a unique code will be published, either each day or in each individual paper and as long as you enter five different codes you should be able to enter. Of course one could fall short if someone gives you the codes and another person uses exactly the same codes as I have. If there is a question then I will have to try and find the answer myself. I won't break the rules by publishing the answer on here or anywhere else.
Thanks again.- You will automatically unlock this competition from Saturday, October 17 - no Unique Numbers required.

Each individual printed newspaper has its own unique code printed, and the link provided by mjm is worth subscribing to as many spares are listed by the posters.
Before subscribing, check on the post whether codes are given in the digital edition as not sure whether they are.
Good luck!1 -

You can also enter this via phone or text with just the daily answer (which is the same for everyone) with no need for unique codes. It costs £1 to enter though.I won't post the answers here if they're not allowed, but if you have access to PressReader for free through your local library then you can digitally download copies of the Daily Mail for free and find all the daily answers as well as full entry info there and still enter if you don't mind spending a £1 (or more, as you can enter as many times are you like) without needing any unique codes or physical copies of the paper.0

@2013yearofthehouse
Thank you so much for this information. Especially about the library. I will look into that.

Good Afternoon 2013yearofthehouse
I have now managed to access the Daily Mail via my local library online. Unfortunately the "Unique Numbers" are not displayed on any copies I have looked at. The box where they should be displayed is blank.
I am wondering if this is why they state if you have a subscription you don't need to enter any "Unique Numbers" as they are not displayed on the digital version.

Yes, that’s what I was trying to explain yesterday - sorry if I wasn’t clear
There are no unique numbers on the digital copies as they are the same for everyone, but you can still enter the competition via phone or text without having any unique numbers as all you need to know is the answer to the question they ask in the paper. If looking at 20th October paper, scroll to page 89 and read the How to Enter box at the bottom of the page. It gives you the instructions of how to enter via phone or text with just the answer to the question which is still displayed on the digital copy. It costs £1 to enter (plus standard rate text or call), but it does mean you can still enter without having the unique codes, so you don’t need a physical copy of the paper.0
